Navigating Difficult Conversations: Deciphering Intent and Impact

If you're not willing to be influenced by somebody's intention, and you can only be willing to be influenced by their impact. Where does that get us?

In this video, I reflect on the importance of receiving meaningful feedback and its impact on personal growth and professional development. Drawing inspiration from a recent encounter with a client, I discuss the importance of acknowledging praise to foster a positive environment that encourages growth.

Why is appreciation and feedback important in nurturing a supportive community among DEI advocates? Are we open to reflecting on the profound impact of genuine recognition?

Lastly, let's explore difficult conversations and identity within the DEI framework, examining the various dimensions that shape self-perception. Reconstructing Inclusion
Reconstructing Inclusion Podcast
The Reconstructing Inclusion Podcast goes far beyond what the host, Amri B. Johnson, considers redundant, how-to diversity, equity, and inclusion dialogues.
He aims to create a space to speak the truth and examine context in DEI. This means creating a path forward for everyone to rethink and recognize the benefits of inclusion individually and collectively.
Reconstructing in this sense is about creating organizational systems and networks where everyone belongs.
